Info for Attendees

So...you've heard about our show and would like to attend. GREAT! Here's some information about this year's show:

BASIC SHOW INFORMATION: ITA Showcase 2008 will be held at the Holiday Inn Portland Airport Hotel, on March 4 and 5. Show hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hosted luncheon will be provided on both days. Our vendors are hosting a reception immediately following the first day of the show (from 4 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday). Seminars will be held on an hourly basis on both days (seminar schedule will be posted on this site after January 10). Golf tournament begins at 10 a.m. (shotgun start) on Monday, March 3.

1-503-256-5000 before February 15. Be sure to indicate that you are with ITA Showcase.

To get to the hotel: Take the Killingsworth Street Exit (exit 23-B) off of I-205 (north or south). Then simply stay to the right and follow the Holiday Inn signs to Columbia Blvd. -- hotel is less than three miles from the Portland airport. (Map on right is provided courtesy of Expedia.com)

REGISTRATION: Showcase 2008 is FREE to representatives from telephone companies, regulatory commissions, government agencies, RUS, PUDs, electric utilities, CLECs, ISPs, CAPs, wireless service providers, interconnects, CATVs, or state telephone associations. The only people who must pay a $100 Registration fee are NON-EXHIBITING VENDORS to the industry. This fee does not apply to those vendors whose products are being displayed by a distributor. Although there is no charge for most show participants, we ask that you go to Attendee Registration and fill out the registration form with names, titles, phone numbers and addresses of those attending. This will help us greatly at registration on the days of the show.

SEMINARS will begin at 8:00 a.m. each day, and are held until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday and 2 p.m. on Wednesday. A schedule of last year's seminars and seminar outlines can be found at 2007 Seminars.

NAME BADGES AND EXHIBITOR BOOTH MAPS will be ready for you at the registration desk.

DOOR PRIZES will be given away throughout the show, with a final door prize giveaway held at the closing of our exhibits at 1:30 on Wednesday. Our vendors are highly creative when it comes to door prizes; we usually have lots of fun. Don't forget to sign up when you arrive at the show!

GOLF TOURNEY will be a four-man scramble (10 a.m. shotgun start) at the Colwood Golf Course on Monday, March 3. These tourneys tend to be high points in the show; lots of fun and even more prizes. Be sure to include your average score or your handicap on the registration form so we can put together a fair tourney. No refunds after February 15.
